Sessions & Jams

CHARLOTTETOWN

Sunday Sessions 2-5pm The Old Triangle Ale House.  This is an acoustic session, the main repertoire being traditional Irish tunes and caters to more skilled players who have memorized the music. Visitors are welcome, and set dancing often happens…. led by Roy Johnstone

Slow session Monday evenings 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Old Triangle (usually in the Pourhouse).
Players of all levels of expertise and all acoustic instruments are welcome. Those who wish to use sheet music are welcome to bring it along, but if you play by ear, that’s fine too. Tunes typically include traditional Celtic ones, along with some more recent ones.
At our sessions we take turns picking a tune to be played and setting the tempo at which that tune is played.
