The Southern Kings County Fiddlers became a chapter of the PEI Fiddlers Society in 2010. We meet twice a month from late March or early April through to December every year. We play a viariety of fiddle tunes from the Scottish, Irish, Cape Breton and Acadian traditions. We also have collected many tunes from composers all over Eastern PEI and these “local” tunes are always well represented in our practices. Please check out our music files for a taste of the variety of tunes we play, and for harmony parts for over 40 tunes.

In normal times, we play throughout the year at manors and nursing homes in our area, as well as at local ceilidhs, farmer’s market, and community events. Visitors are always welcome to play or listen at our practices.
