Tim Chaisson’s new Fiddle Tune Video Tutorials

The impact of corona virus is being felt everywhere these days, and the fiddle community is experiencing many cancellations of practices and performances. Travelling musicians are particularly affected.  Islander Tim Chaisson and the East Pointers have just had their tour of Australia cancelled. He just sent me information about a new Fiddle Tune Video Tutorial series he is launching on Patreon, a subscription service site, at www.patreon.com/timchaissonmusic. The first video is now up and at $5 per month it is a very reasonable way to enjoy learning new tunes and to support one of our gifted island artists at the same time.

I  watched Tim teaching at the Rollo Bay Fiddle Camp and am sure he will be able to make excellent videos. He was very patient and good at demonstrating the tunes to the classes! So please spread the word about his new tutorials to anyone who might be interested.
